A veiled wish to combine a love for the age of technical reproduction with the manual sweat and toil of research, the overture for the Unosunove gallery is played by a choir of three soloists for whom there is no need of a commom denominator. Their techniques are poles apart, their materials and instruments differ wildly, yet their poetics all deal with the idea of stopping time, and this notion binds the art of all three together.
Isca Greenfield-Sanders was born in 1978 in New York City’s East Village, where she currently lives and works.
Carla Mattii was born in Fermo (Ascoli Piceno) in 1971. Now she lives and works in Milan, Italy.
Silvia Zotta is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC Geneva ). She was born in Buenos Aires ( Argentina ) in 1969. In 1993 she moved to Italy and now she lives and works in Milan.
